Outside the Circle? The Relational Implications for White Women Working Against Racism

Abstract:
This paper explores the relational origins of white women speaking up against racism. Based on interviews with eight white women educators who have assumed positions of leadership in their school districts as part of an antiracist initiative. This work discusses the effects of their activism and its implications for their own relational growth.
