Deeba Zivari on a bike

“I had this idea to collect used bikes and give them new life—repair them and put them around campus as part of a taxi biking program. We called it Revolution Bikes. The bikes are wrapped in hot pink tape, and you can pick one up, ride it, and leave it for the next person. I got a grant from the Class of ’57 Green Fund to expand the program. Wellesley was awesome about helping me realize my dreams.” Deeba Zivari ’11 was a comparative literature major from Roslyn Heights, Long Island, NY. She was also an Albright Fellow (see #98).
