Chem Lab Robotic Web Cam
Mellon Interns Sena Tang '03 and Natalie Ng '02 installed and configured a robotic video camera mount on a computer in Professor Chris Arumainayagam's lab. From a web page, he and others can pan, tilt, and center the camera to view the pressure inside an ultrahigh vacuum chamber and monitor the status of a turbo molecular pump and other lab equipment remotely.
