The main events the group holds are Africa Day and the African Fashion Show:
On Africa Day, AAN organizes a day celebrating African culture. This includes guest speakers who address issues that are relevant to the continent, food from various countries and regions, and a cultural show of song and dance.
During the Fashion Show, members of the organization don apparel from different countries, showing off both modern and traditional dress.

Gumboot Dance
Performances:
- Gumboot Dance - This is a dance performed by miners in the Gold and Diamond mines of South Africa. After a long day deep in the heart of the earth, often cramped for many hours in tiny cracks and crevices, the miners
looked forward to stretching their muscles by engaging in lively activity.
