African Awareness Now occasionally interacts with African organizations at other colleges and universities in the Boston area. The groups participate in activities such as Food For Thought (FFT) dinners with discussion on issues pertinent to Africa, hold lectures, and organize social and cultural events together. AAN and the other African student associations form a local support and resource network for each other.
