The CWS "Dress for Success" Fashion Show is a relatively new co-sponsored event between Wellesley College's Center for Work and Service and our very own a la Mode fashion club. The show was reinvented this year after a two year hiatus, and will be held again next fall on September 16, 2007. The show's purpose is to teach Wellesley women how to dress for interviews and the career world.
This past year's show exhibited suits from Boston retailers Ann Taylor, Talbots, and Benetton, as well as from CWS's suit-lending program. Additionally, Tumi in the Vil provided bags for the show. A representative from a non-profit suit-lending organization, Dress for Success, led the event, and gave advice after the show on how to dress for different fields of work. a la Mode would also like to give special thanks to Irma Tryon at CWS for all of her help with the show!
