Student Organizations and Appointments Committee
Chair: College Government Vice President Yang Qiu
Membership: Approximately 1/3 of Senate
Purpose: SOAC is responsible for granting college recognition to student organizations, ratifying organizations' constitutions, encouraging co-sponsorship amongst organizations, and serving as a resource for organization Presidents to College Government. Addtionally, members of this committee appoint student representatives to various committees on campus, including committes for Student Council to the Board of Trustees (SCBT) and Academic Council.

Student Organization Funding Committee
Chair: College Government Bursar Nadine Abraham
Membership: Approximately 1/3 of senate. Membership in SOFC is open to all members of the campus at the beginning of each senate year. However, for continuity of decision-making, membership is closed after the 2nd meeting.
Purpose: SOFC is responsible for approving the budgets of all funded organizations, maintaining and enforcing Finance legislation, and distributing Student Activity Fee monies in a fair and non-discriminatory manner.

Purpose: To promote and publicize events and members related to College Government and to create interest in the general community to participate in and learn about Wellesley College Government.

Senate Policy and Ethics Committee
Chair: Nora Keller
Membership:
Purpose: To preserve the autonomy and integrity of the College Government by enforcing CG policy. SPEC handles appeals of Senate Committee decisions, and manages a system of accountability for Senate Ad-Hoc Committees.
