How to get to Felding

By Car

From the West
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 14 (Weston). Go south on Interstate 95 (Route 128) for 1/2 mile to Route 16, Exit 21B. Follow Route 16 West for 2.9 miles to a stoplight (5-way intersection) in the town of Wellesley; go straight on Route 135 (West). At the third traffic light take a left into the main entrance of the College, and follow the On Campus directions below.

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 16 (West Newton). Follow Route 16 West for 4.7 miles to a stoplight (5-way intersection) in the town of Wellesley; go straight on Route 135 (West). At the third traffic light take a left into the main entrance of the College, and follow the On Campus directions below.

From the North

Take Interstate 95 (Route 128) North to Exit 21B (Route 16 West). Follow Route 16 West for 2.9 miles to a stoplight (5-way intersection) in the town of Wellesley; go straight on Route 135 (West). At the third traffic light take a left into the main entrance of the College, and follow the On Campus directions below.

By T

Felding is not immediately accessable via the T. Take the Red line to South Station, and then take the Framingham Commuter Rail out from South Station to the Wellesley Square stop. (The cost is $2.50.) Upon exiting the Commuter Rail, you may find yourself on the wrong side of the tracks (litterally.) Look for a church and a small cemetary on a rather busy road. (There should be a large expanse of parking lot between you and the church.) There is also a small provincial gas station on the corner to your right. Head for the gas station and, with the Station at your back, turn right on the busy road. (This is Rt. 135.) Follow the road for three blocks, and you will see a sign that says "Wellesley College, Motor Entrance 1/2 mile." Continue walking along the road (although you will need to cross the street at the sign) for half a mile and then follow the On Campus directions below.

Once On Campus

• Parking: the first right after turning into the main entrance of Wellesley College is a parking lot known as Alumnae Lot. Parking is free here on the weekends.
• Alumnae Hall: This is the brick building adjacent to Alumnae Lot. Usually, we only use the lower portion of the Hall (the Ballroom) which can be found by descending the stairs to the left of the main entrance on the outside of the building.
• Munger Meadow: the Meadow is the grassy area ahead of you and downhill. If you walk out of Alumnae Lot and follow the road to your right, you will pass Campus Police and reach the Meadow.
• Severance Green: follow Campus Drive (the road you turned onto from Rt. 135) until there is a true 'road' to your right. Follow it and the grassy expanse about 40 feet in front of you is Severance Green. (There will be a small Tudor house to your right if you are looking at the right field.)
