The best way to get involved is twofold. First, subscribe to the Felding mailing list by emailing Lilias with the message, "subscribe". Second, read the Felding Medieval Society conference on FirstClass. To get there, to go Wellesley Forums --> Student Forums --> Student Organizations --> Felding Medieval Society.
There will be information posted regularly on social events, practices, meetings on campus, trips to the fabric store, and everything else concerning Felding. Feel free just to read the messages, or join in the conversation with thoughts and suggestions. If you're feeling really adventurous, you could even post a letter of introduction. We realize there is a lot to learn about the SCA and we were all new once, too. We're happy to answer your questions.
So after you've learned about our meetings/practices/events/etc., what should you do? Attend them! All of our meetings are open to the public without any prior arrangement.
Come to our Demo on Monday, September 4th, 2000 (Labor day), on Severance Green from 1-4pm.
Stop by our table at the Student Activities Fair.
Most important of all, attend Falling Leaves, the event on campus September 23, 2000.
You can email our officers with specific questions.

The best way to stay involved in the SCA is to find an activity you like, and stick with it. There are dozens of things going on in the Boston area each month, most of which are accessible by public transportation. A list of all the guilds, practices and activities in Carolingia can be found here. A lot of our members attend various things and would be willing to provide transportation, directions, contact information, equipment to borrow, or anything else you might need. Post on the Felding Medieval Society conference on FirstClass or email the Provost.
Most of these activities are free or charge a very nominal fee for which Felding reimburses its members. The organization is also able to pay for transportation expenses. Keep your receipts!
