Who We Are

The Film Society is a Wellesley College student organization comprised of students who love movies.

What We Do

The Film Society holds numerous movie-related events over the year. Primarily, Film Society screens two films every Friday and Saturday night of the semester, including blockbusters, independents, and documentaries. To visit our schedule of movies for this semester, please visit the Schedule page!

These movies are free to all Wellesley Students, Faculty, Staff and MIT Students.
All other guests are $3.

We also hold events like parties and trivia contests. Please visit our Events page for more information on events!

How to Join:

The Film Society holds an open meeting at the beginning of every semester for new members to join. This meeting is mandatory for all members. Every Film Society member is required to screen at least one movie per semester. In order to screen, new members must go to one training session in Collins Cinema and in Pendleton West 212.

For more information about joining, please visit the 'Film Society' conference on First Class or look for spam on any of the main conferences at the beginning of the semester.
