Saganaki (Fried Cheese)

Ingredients:

  • _ lb. Kasseri, Kefalotiri, or dry Feta cheese

  • _ lb. Butter

  • 1 Tbsp. Oregano

  • 2 _ Tbsp. Lemon juice

  • flour (to coat cheese)

  • Procedure:

    Cut cheese about _ inch thick.
    Dust lightly with flour.
    Fry in very hot butter for about 30 seconds on each side.
    Sprinkle with lemon juice and oregano.
    Serve hot!
