Annual Events of the Wellesley College Hellenic Society
Mediterranean Night
This annual event is a night of food and chilling to Greek and Italian music, and watching a film or two such as Life is Beautiful.
In past years we sometimes have done Greek dancing as well.
The Italian Club co-sponsors this event with us, so it usually draws a lot of people from the Wellesley community who know the true quality of good Greek and Italian food.
Please keep posted for the date of the upcoming Mediterranean night in
the spring of 2003.

Easter Celebration
Each Easter Sunday the Wellesley and MIT Hellenic Societies meet at Slater House by Wellesley's beautiful Lake Waban.
We prepare the festivities as tradition goes, by roasting whole lambs on blazing fire pits, and eating and drinking much more, as well as Greek dancing.
In past years the groups have been very large and have retired to play soccer, listen to Greek music, or watch Greek films in Slater.
We encourage non-Greek friends to come too, because it is usally an extremely fun and exuberant event that lasts the entire afternoon and evening.
But the more people, the harder it will be for one to win the annual Easter good luck coin that is baked into one of the homemade Easter breads.
Join us and try your luck :)
Please keep posted for the date in spring 2003.
