Although the Wellesley Hockey team does provide its members with equipment for practices and games, team members may want to buy their own. It is nice to own equipment that is especially made to fit your body. Places in or around the Boston area where you can purchase equipment include:

The sports store Thunder located in the ville is a good resource for getting your skates sharpened. It is located on 19 Central Street (next to the Bank of America branch). In order to insure that someone is available to sharpen your skates call ahead of time. The phone number is 781-237-0400. It has a modest selection of ice hockey equipment, the selection is seasonal and has sales in the early fall and after season has ended in the spring.
