Background:
I was raised in Boston and attended Regis College. After college, I joined the Lay Apostolate Movement and taught both primary and junior high students on a sugar plantation in Waipahu, Hawaii. Then I decided to try my hand at becoming a nun, so I entered the religious community who sponsored the school in Waipahu whose novitiate was in St. Louis. When I entered the novitiate, my family wanted me to buy a round trip ticket thinking I would never make it as a nun, but here I am 38 years later! As a nun I have worked in New York, Missouri, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Illinois and Massachusetts. I have been blessed to have visited Japan, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria and Ireland. I did my graduate work at Harvard Divinity School and since then have served as chaplain in a variety of ways and locations.

Personal Notes:
I am consciously feminist in the most wholesome sense of the term, an eager learner, an unabashed follower of Jesus, a devoted grand-aunt, a lover of nature and a consummate reader. The energy I feel through the students at Wellesley College and from being part of an amazing Religious Life Team is a gift that I treasure.
