Community
Newman strengthens its community atmosphere through social
activities and educational opportunties. Community service
and social justice action, important components of living
the Catholic faith, are strongly encouraged.
Community
Service
Understanding the working for justice is concomitant with the Gospel message of Jesus the Christ, Newman members often volunteer at charity fund-raising evens and at Boston area social justice organizations. We support and encourage students to access the resources found at the Center for Work and Service (CWS). In particular we support students taking advantage of the Wellesley funded internship programs in a variety of not-for-profit organizations. We continue to look for new places to serve.
