Reflection and discussion in a group setting may deepen one's spirituality. Newman provides opportunities for spiritual growth within a community.
Spiritual Direction Sessions
Small group and individual sessions are available. Most of our visiting priests are also available to meet individually with students on an appointment basis. All of the chaplains, ministers, advisors and priests in the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life are available for support and guidance.
Retreats
Newman organizes days of recollection and one retreat at the beginning of each year.
Sacraments
Sacrament of Reconciliation can be received either before or after Sunday Mass or by appointment with one of the visiting priests. Contact Sister Nancy Corcoran for further information.
Sacramental Preparation (aka the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults or RCIA) or preparation classes for Communion and Confirmation are held on campus culminating in receiving the Sacraments with college students at a special Mass held in Boston in the spring.
