| Transplant medicine continues to evolve and improve. Organ transplants,
once experimental, are now proven cures for people with organ failure.
Each day about 60 people receive organ transplants - but another 16 die
waiting because not enough organs are available. ODE hopes to help close
the gap between those needing transplants and the number of donor organs
available by distributing organ donor cards and getting them signed.
You can help! If you are a Wellesley College student and want to join
ODE, please email us. Each
year we distribute cards, sponsor lectures, and show films. And we always
want help, whether it be just putting up posters, helping design them,
updating this website - or becoming part of our executive board.
