Safety Tips
To minimize the risk of being sexually assaulted, follow
these safety tips, and always use common sense in uncertain situations.
- Be aware of your surroundings at all times.
- Always surround yourself with people you trust.
- When drinking, know your limits.
- When outdoors at night, stay in well-lit areas.
- Know how to defend yourself.
- Trust your instincts. Your intuition can often tell you
when you are in a potentially dangerous situation.
- If you see any unusual activity or an actual crime, report
it immediately to Campus Police.
- If you encounter any suspicious persons, remove yourself
from the situation as quickly as possible.
