Flag Wellesley College Sailing Team

Currently, the team consists of approximately twelve girls of all abilities and backgrounds. The Wellesley College Sailing Team is a successful student organization of the college and competitive in the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association. We practice two to three times a week, either on the beautiful Lake Waban at Wellesley College or at the MIT Sailing Pavilion, located on the Charles River in the heart of Boston. Typically, we sail either MIT Techs or FJs; we have, however, been known to skipper a 420 every once in awhile. This group of sailors competes each weekend in regattas across New England during both the fall and spring seasons. Recently, we have become increasingly competitive with the many varisity teams against whom we race. For additional information about Wellesley Sailing, please email us or seek out any team member. We can be identified by our sun-burn skin, fish-smelling stench, foul language, tatoos, and rowdy demeanor! (Just kidding)
