The Slater International Association is a student run organization formed with the aim of encouraging a greater understanding among cultures through personal association and cooperative endeavors. We also strive to address the needs and concerns of Wellesley College's international students regardless of nationality or cultural identity. Each year, we bring a variety of lectures and panel discussions to campus concerning a wide range of international affairs, as well as delicious dinners celebrating cultural events. We have many of our events at The Slater International Center, located by Lake Waban. Slater is not exclusive for international students and we welcome participation of everyone on campus. The Center was donated by Priscilla Allen Slater '16 and her husband, Ellis Dwinell Slater. It is open to visitors Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm. "To encourage greater understanding among
all cultures through personal association and cooperative endeavor"
