Spring 2008 Funding Changes
- Senate approved open deadlines, allowing organizations to apply for
all types of events at every deadline. This means that we no longer differentiate between
Spring Budgeting, Emergency Funding or Lectures Funding. The only funding deadline
excluded from this change is Uniquely Compelling; capital goods can not be funded in
the open deadlines.
- The open deadlines will be spread throughout the year
(they extend into April) so that organizations can apply for funding closer to events.
*Please note that "spring budgeting" still has the most money.
- New forms have been approved. These will be used in all deadlines
in the future, with the exception of Uniquely Compelling. The updated forms are located on
the forms page. The new forms have an accompanying
policy booklet.
We hope that these changes make the funding system more efficient and more responsive to the
needs of your organization!
