Welcome Readers!

This marks the first ever newsletter following our founding just a few months ago. TSA is grateful for the numerous support and advice we have recieved from all of you. In this issue, we have some general information about recent activities TSA members have participated in and take a brief look into some historical and current Taiwanese issues. Please also use this as a source of announcements about upcoming on-campus events. This newsletter will be published periodically throughout the academic year to foster a strong community, one in which TSA was founded to engender. As a organization still in its founding stages, we invite comments and suggestions. Where would you like TSA to go from here? What events would you enjoy? How can we form a community that you would value and trust? As TSA becomes a more established organization, we hope to provide Taiwan enthusiasts with a warm and supportive community.
