Spring 05 Tupelos
The Tupelos are an acappella singing group named after the romantic spot on Wellesley College's Lake Waban, "Tupelo Point." The Tupes have been dishing out red hot acappella goodness since 1949, presenting high-energy, aurally and visually stimulating shows up and down the East Coast. Take a stroll around our site, check out some sound clips, look at some photos, and find out when and where you can catch us next.

what's new
Live CD! Ok, so maybe you missed our spring concert (...dude, that's cold). Or maybe you just loved it so much you simply had to have your own all-access pass to the magic that was the Tupelos concert of May 7, 2005. Well our friends, you are in luck. Our live CD from "The Red Line" is now for sale for just five smackers. Visit our our albums section to check out some clips or place an order.

Fall auditions The time has come again for the Tupelos to get together and make people sing scales. Do you want to be a Tupelo? Do you dream of donning red and black and performing for thousands of screaming fans (hey, don't laugh)? Come to Jewett on Sept. 5 (4:30-6:30 p.m.) or Sept. 7 (7:00-9:00 p.m.) and show us your stuff.

ICCA The Tupes will host a regional quarterfinals event of the International Championship of Collegiate Acappella at Wellesley on Nov. 5. Click here for tickets!

Tupes abroad Alas, two of our beloved juniors are leaving us to explore this big old world. Candace, our very own BeDonald (a fusion of Beyonce and Mr Trump - you'd understand if you knew C-Dids) will be traveling to the faraway land of New York City to study at Columbia U. Emily R., that little bundle of fire in red pants, will be meandering her way over to the country of fries and kissing, aka France. We'll miss our little ones, but they'll be back. You can count on it.

Waiting Line
The Tupes strike a pose at the beginning of "Waiting Line" at a performance with the Dartmouth Aires in April.

Induction
Even the snow at the beginning of spring semester couldn't keep the Tupes from having a blast.
