Davis ScholarsWellesley offers educational opportunities to women who have taken nontraditional routes to a college education. The College's Davis Degree Program is dedicated to providing women who are ages 24 years and older with the same high-quality education all other students receive. Designed with the needs of the returning student in mind, the Davis Degree Program gathers a group of women from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Davis Scholars are integrated into the Wellesley community—taking the same classes, participating in the same student organizations, and, if they choose, living with students of traditional college age. They bring a richness to the classroom, offering their experiences and unique perspectives. Davis Scholars are also a community unto themselves. They have the option of living in residence halls especially reserved for Davis Scholars (Cedar Lodge and Homestead) and often form a special bond with others in the program.
