Multicultural Courses

During your four years at Wellesley, you will complete at least one unit of coursework that focuses on:

• African, Asian, Caribbean, Latin American, Middle Eastern, Native American, or Pacific Island peoples, cultures, or societies; and/or
• A minority American culture, such as those defined by race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or physical ability; and/or
• The processes of racism, social or ethnic discrimination, or cross-cultural interaction.

Wellesley fosters the respect and appreciation of each of its students' ethnic backgrounds through its multicultural course requirement.
