ZETA ALPHA HOUSE
Society Zeta Alpha (ZA) was founded in 1876 as a literary and theatrical society on campus. Each semester the society brings many accomplished authors to campus to give talks. Often the society works with other organizations on campus to cosponsor events. In addition, every year Zeta Alpha sponsors campus-wide short story and poetry contests judged by faculty and students. ZA has maintained its house on Tupelo Lane since 1900; members devote a great deal of time and care to the house and are responsible for the upkeep.
