"In today’s world, we are all neighbors."
 Madeleine K. Albright '59

The Albright Institute offers real-world learning opportunities for the global leaders of tomorrow.

The Albright Institute offers a new definition of what constitutes the classroom. Deepening a student’s curricular experience with the significant learning that can take place off campus, Albright fellowships enable students to pursue College-funded internships over the course of the summer. Students have more than 150 diverse opportunities available for their fieldwork including:

Elisabeth Luce Moore '24 Internships in Asiabuilding from internship
The Elisabeth Luce Moore '24 Internships in Asia aim to prepare students for lives and careers in a global economy. Through rigorous summer internships in East Asian business, government, and not-for-profit organizations, students gain knowledge of local business and cultural norms that inform their liberal arts education and prepare them for professions in an interconnected world.

Clinton Foundation Internship
As Clinton Foundation interns, students will undertake 10-week summer internships as part of the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI). Established in 2002, the program is the cornerstone initiative of the Clinton Foundation, which is dedicated to addressing poverties and health inequalities across the globe.

Wellesley Internships in Latin AmericaAlbright Fellows
The Wellesley Internships in Latin America program provides an ideal environment for students to learn more about Latin America. Through internships in varied fields—such as political and environmental sciences, economics, Latin American politics, history, biology, and sociology—students gain real-world experience about the challenges facing this region.

Tanner Conference on Wellesley Campus
In the fall, the Albright Fellows will prepare written summaries about their experiences. They will speak at the Tanner Conference, an annual Wellesley College event that showcases the integration of academic theory with real-world experience.

The Tanner Conference explores the relationship between the liberal arts classroom and student participation in an increasingly diverse and interdependent world. Encompassing the broad range of student experiences and interests, this year the Tanner Conference will provide a special Albright Forum for reflection and analysis, as the Albright Fellows share their off-campus experiences with others in the College community.
