through their achievement have brought honor to themselves
and to
Wellesley College.
Summer Symposium
Summer Symposium offers a unique opportunity for
alumnae and guests to take advantage of our annual week-long

resources; its state-of-the-art facilities and faculty. This
topic-driven program helps cultivate new friendships as well
as life-long learning experiences.
A
Day to Make a Difference

their families participate in annual community service projects
around the US and in different parts of the world.
Alumnae Leadership Council
During this annual weekend program, WCAA volunteer leaders
receive training for their positions and discuss the common
issues that they face as volunteers. Participants are also
provided with current information about Wellesley and new
initiatives within the Alumnae Association.
Local
Clubs
The WCAA supports over 100 clubs and informal
groups around the world, providing alumnae with opportunities
to socialize, network and connect to Wellesley in their
own neighborhood.
Class
Activities
More than 80 classes are active, with officers
involved in many programs: planning reunions and mini-reunions;
publishing newsletters, directories, and record books;
and sponsoring discussion groups and web sites. Travel
Programs
The WCAA travel program provides a portfolio
of trips that helps keep alumnae and friends connected.
With the guidance of faculty members to supplement the
trip with educational lectures and excursions, alumnae
have enjoyed trips to such destinations as Umbria and Rome,
Jordan, the Galápagos Islands, China, Japan, Tanzania
and India.
