Lois Juliber ’71 Vice Chairman of Colgate-Palmolive President, Colgate North America Chief Technology Officer President of the Far East/Canada Division Vice President, General Foods Corporation Board of Directors of DuPont Corporation Trustee of Wellesley College

Lois Juliber ’71 is Vice Chairman of Colgate-Palmolive. Ms. Juliber, in addition to having operating responsibility for the vitally important Latin America Division, is responsible for Global Business Development, Research and Development, Manufacturing Technology and the Global Product Supply Chain, Information Technology, Corporate Development, Strategic Planning and Corporate Communications.

Ms. Juliber joined Colgate in 1988, as President of the Company’s Far East/Canada Division. Under her leadership, Colgate’s business is Asia and the Indian subcontinent grew rapidly. During this time, she also supervised Colgate’s entry into China, as well as joint ventures in other newly emerging countries.

In 1992, Ms. Juliber was promoted to Chief Technology Officer of the Corporation. In that position she was responsible for directing the Company’s worldwide research and development, manufacturing, information technology, and initiatives in environmental affairs, consumer affairs and health and safety.

In 1994, Ms. Juliber was promoted to President, Colgate North America, responsible for Colgate businesses in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. There she led a resurgence of Colgate North America, developed a series of successful new products, and dramatically increased profit growth. In 1997, Ms. Juliber was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief of Operations, Developed Markets, responsible for all of Colgate’s operations in Europe and North America. In 2000 she was named Chief Operating Officer, responsible for all of Colgate’s overseas operations. In 2004 Ms. Juliber was named Vice Chairman.

Prior to joining Colgate, Ms Juliber was Vice President, General Foods Corporation. In her 15 years with General Foods, she gained extensive experience in new products and new business development, and managed such well-known brands as Kool Aid and Post Cereals.

Ms. Juliber earned her Bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College and her MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ms. Juliber is a member of the Board of Directors of DuPont Corporation and Goldman Sachs, a Trustee of Wellesley College and a Director of the Harvard Business School Club of New York and Girls, Inc.
