Class officers (pictured above) attended Alumnae Leadership Council, Oct. 15-17 at Wellesley. We had a great time and reminisced about reunion. Jerusha ("Jerry") Hull McCormack has written an article about her own experiences dealing with grief that she would like to share with her classmates. Annual giving rep Carol Carde Fetke writes that we should all thank Barb Benton Patty, who has been our class annual giving rep for the past five years. She and all the dorm reps did an outstanding job. In June at the class reunion meeting, she announced that we had a 76% participation rate in giving with over 100 Durant Society donors. Both of these are amazing feats for the class. But best of all, we should be proud that the class's 40th reunion gift was $5,612,594! This is a College record for the 40th reunion. In Carol's words: "I take over from Barb as your new annual giving rep with trepidation, but confident in the knowledge that you will help me keep the class at the forefront of support to the College. I would be happy to talk with anyone who has plans for giving and will facilitate your gifts from mutual funds or stocks to save you taxes." We look forward to hearing from one and all. Stay well.
