Thoughts on Wellesley, Accomplishments and Life
I am so incredibly proud of my friends and colleagues
from Wellesley and the choices each has made. One
of the things I value the most about my connection
to Wellesley is the support and strength we receive
from and provide to each other. So for that, thank
you.
Things I have learned since the last reunion:
-- To cherish my 40s. It is like being 20, but with
some money
-- Every one has something special to offer
-- Enjoy life, today and each day
-- To truly appreciate nature: A beautiful sunrise – or
even a rain shower -- is a gift for me to treasure.
Just dress appropriately.
-- I have so much still to learn
What I am most proud of:
-- My friendships – especially the ones that
have lasted for decades and the ones that span continents
and oceans
-- That I can hang out with my Wellesley friends and
it’s like we’re back at college
-- Starting a program that benefits Susan G. Komen
for the Cure that has raised more than $300,000 in
one year and has been expanded through the parent company
of where I work. It should raise well over $1 million
by this time next year
-- Making a difference in my community
-- That I always have loved, and still truly love my
parents – even when they visit for 6+ weeks each
summer
--The rush I get from a job well-done
