We need your help:
What's the easiest way to help your class?
Reunion Campaign:
We are starting a GIVING Campaign and we want YOU to participate! Please read through this short email to find out why!
OUR GOAL: to make $3000 for our class by 1/1/09 to use towards reunion**
We want to go above and beyond for our 5th reunion, but to do so, we need your help! Class reunions are funded 100% by alumnae donations, and we have a long way to go to ensure that our reunion in 2009 is chock full of fun activities. This is where you come in - donate now (or soon, or every day, or in June), and your money goes into an interest-earning account to be used to plan the best events Wellesley's campus will see that weekend, and to top it all off, we'll send you a free tshirt! Please encourage your friends to give as well (we know it's hard to remember what with law school and med school and wedding planning and world travel, but we promise, it's important!).
YOUR ROLE: Give $50 today. Email your friends from 2004 and encourage them to give as well! Click here for instructions on how to give.
If you give... $50 today, we will have $64 in 5 years!
If you and 9 friends give...$50 today, in 5 years we will gain $139!!
If everyone in our class gives $50 today, in 10 yrs we will have $46,000!!!
FREE 2004 T-SHIRT if you give before 6/1/08! Click here for design.
Please consider supporting our class today. If you have any questions, please contact 2004council[@]alum.wellesley.edu.
Thanks,
Class of 2004 Executive Board and Reunion Planning Committee
**(the absolute minimum recommended by alumnae association as what our class MUST HAVE to begin reunion planning)
NOTE: This campaign is not associated with the Wellesley College Annual Giving Office. Please continue your regular annual giving to the college, but consider this one time gift as an additional amount to be given directly toward the Class of 2004 to be used solely for Reunion.
Store:
How many Wellesley women does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Find out at our online store, where there are old favorites like “Wellesley Women: Smashing the Glass Ceiling Since 1875” mouse pads and witty coasters. So please, stop on by and buy. Visit: http://www.cafepress.com/2004
Class Dues:
Dues are not being paid to the College! They are going directly to our 2004 class account to be used by OUR CLASS and only our class. The money supports mini-reunions, newsletters, mailings, and most importantly it will be invested to pay for our REUNIONS, starting in 2009 and beyond! Without your dues, our reunion will be difficult to plan and fund. The more money we collect through dues, the more affordable our reunion will be for the class. Class Dues are the only funding we receive so please contribute to your class!
To pay your fabulous, tax-deductible annual dues of $20.04, you can send a check to our treasurer, Helen Kay, at 130 North 2nd Street, Unit 4E, Philadelphia, PA 19106. Checks should be made payable to Wellesley College Class of 2004.
You may also pay online with a credit card through PayPal. Please send the payment to wellesley2004@gmail.com.
