Nine of us met on April 20 at Bobbie Heisterkamp's home in Denver to discuss Gilead by Marilynne Robinson. Thank you, Bobbie, for hosting our meeting.

The winners of the recent book club ballot have been announced:

First choice is The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. We will be discussing it on May 25 at the home of Laura Rusch. Directions provided upon request..

On Beauty by Zadie Smith came in second. We will be discussing it on June 29 at the home of Suzanne Ezell.

The choice for August is The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. We will be meeting at the home of Anne Norwood, but the date hasn't been set yet.
