WHAT WE'RE UP TO Non Ministrari sed Ministrare |

In keeping with the spirit of Wellesley's motto, we seek as a club to be active volunteers in our college, our community, and our world. If you know of a worthy cause that needs a helping hand and would like to list it on this page, please contact the webmistress with the details. Each year the Club takes part in the Wellesley Alumnae Association initiative to uphold the College's motto, Non Ministrari sed Ministrare, and encourage alumnae to make a difference in their world through service to their local communities. If you would be interested in helping to organize our annual volunteer service day, please contact Kim Douwes. Last year Danielle Hall '00 requested used children's books for the Smith Lake Elementary School in Smith Lake, NM. The school is still desperately in need of books for its library and classrooms and to distribute as attendance awards to students. Please send books to: Smith Lake Elementary School 1299 New Mexico State Highway 371 Smith Lake, NM 87365-0070 Attn: Pat Hansen, Book Project Coordinator Books for older children will be forwarded to the middle and upper schools. |
