A Celebration of Wellesley College Alumnae from Arizona gathered at the Phoenix Ritz Carlton on November 11, 2004 for a luncheon with President Diana Chapman Walsh and other representatives of the College, who presented an overview of the Wellesley Campaign. Day to Make a Difference 2003 Our annual alumnae volunteer service day took place at Ronald MacDonald House in Phoenix on the morning of Saturday, September 14, 2003. We participated in a house maintenance project. Spring 2003 Gathering On Saturday, April 12, 2003, we enjoyed a special docent-led tour of the visiting exhibition Vital Forms: American Art and Design in the Atomic Age, 1940-1960 at the Phoenix Museum of Art. The exhibition included historical and artistic objects that encompassed architecture, ceramics, clothing, furniture, glass, graphic design, industrial design, jewelry, metal, painting, photography, sculpture and textiles. Kathryn Blake ‘84 was Associate Curator for Education for the “Vital Forms” exhibition. |
