In it's 51st year, the Wellesley
Club of Sarasota is an active, enthusiastic group
of some 90 members representing classes from 1929
-2002 and covering a geographic area from Lakeland,
Florida, to Boca Grande, Florida. Meetings
are held on the 3rd Fridays of the month, frequently
for luncheon, with a scheduled speaker. For

The Wellesley Club of Sarasota featured the following programs during 2008-2009:
Albert Joerger, Head of Sarasota Conservation Commission

Sarasota Ballet's new artistc director, Iain Webb
Additional gatherings include a report from Alumnae Leadershp Council, a holiday coffee, a Bradenton art tour, and the April annual meeting.
The Book Club meets monthly on the first Monday of the month, in a member's home, for discussion and a "brow bag lunch."
During the summer months, the Wellesley Club of Sarasota meets monthly in a member's home for socialization and a "brown bag lunch."
