Saturday, September 8th - A Day to Make a Difference

Please join us on Saturday, September 8, for the Utah Wellesley Club's annual Day to Make a Difference. We will be working at Women Helping Women, a Salt Lake Junior League project where volunteers collect, prepare, and distribute donated professional women's clothing. These clothes are donated to women entering the workforce who are in transition towards self-sufficiency. Women Helping Women has served nearly 10,000 women since 1996.

The facility is located at 526 E. 300 S. on the south side of the street. Please park in the next-door ADT parking lot, not at Su Casa. We'll begin at 9:30 a.m. with the history and a tour of the facility, then at 10:00, we'll get to work sorting and preparing clothing donations and assisting clients. We'll finish at 1:00 p.m.

Donations of business-appropriate attire will be gratefully accepted that day. Clean out your closet and join us as we make a difference in the lives of women who are working to become independent.

Please RSVP to Keri@Rikers.org or 446-9744.

We look forward to seeing you there, Saturday, September 8th, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
