A Day To Make A Difference
Welcome
Wellesley
College's rich tradition of service and citizenship is embodied
in the College motto, Non Ministrari Sed Ministrare,
and in its mission to educate women who will make a difference
in the world. The project celebrates Wellesley's legacy by
designating a day for alumnae to undertake service projects
in their areas. Over the past five years, A Day To Make A
Difference has been an overwhelming success.
We
are delighted to announce that the Alumnae Association
and Center for Work and Service have decided to continue
this
initiative in the coming year. We invite you to join
us for A Day To Make A Difference on September 8 or
9, 2007 by
volunteering in projects hosted by alumnae clubs or
other groups of Wellesley alumnae. You may choose to
serve with
family members and friends, or individually. Our hope
is that Wellesley women will work in partnership with
not-for-profits or other service organizations throughout
the world
to give
back to their communities to make a difference in the
world.
We
look forward to sharing this special event with all of you!
