Tips/Directions to Wellesley College
All Symposiasts are responsible
for arranging their own transportation to and from
campus.
Please use the information
below to assist you with your travels. If you need
more detailed information please

travel site. Arriving By Plane
Please use your travel agent to procure the best fares
to Boston’s Logan Airport.
The Airporter (781-899-6161 or Toll Free 877-899-6161/
www.theairporter.com) operates multi-passenger van services
from all terminals to the Newton/Wellesley area. Call
directly or visit their website for current rates and
reservations.
Logan Express runs a bus service direct
to Framingham from all airport terminals. The one-way
trip takes about
an hour. Call 1-800-23-LOGAN for schedule and fare information
or visit
their website.
From the Logan Express terminal in Framingham, you will
need to take a taxi to the College (about 15 minutes).
If no taxis are waiting, call Veteran's Taxi (781-235-1600)
or another local taxi company (see list below). No shuttles
from campus to Logan Express will be offered this year.
Arriving by Train
Amtrak's Northeast Corridor Service stops at Rte. 128/Westwood-Dedham.
It is a 20-minute taxi drive to Wellesley College.
Please arrange to have the taxi meet your train, as
there are no station services. Local taxi companies
include Wellesley Transportation (781-235-2200) and
Veterans' Taxi (781-235-8294), others can be found
listed below.
Arriving by Car
From Boston/Points East:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 16 (West
Newton). Follow Rte 16 West for 4.7 miles to a 5-way
intersection in the town of Wellesley and take a slight
left to continue on Rte 16 West/Washington Street. The
entrance to the College is at the next stoplight on the
right, about 0.5 miles down. Stone-Davis Hall is on the
left of College Road past the College Club. From Points West:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 14 (Weston/Rte
128). Take Interstate 95/Rte 128 south for 0.5 miles
to Route 16 West, Exit 21B. Follow Rte 16 West for
2.9 miles to a 5-way intersection in the town of Wellesley
and take a slight left to continue on Rte 16 West/Washington
Street. The entrance to the College is at the next
stoplight on the right, about 0.5 miles down. Stone-Davis
Hall is on the left of College Road past the College
Club.
From Points North:
Take Interstate 95/Rte 128 South to Exit 21B (Rte 16
West). Follow Rte 16 West for 2.9 miles to a 5-way
intersection in the town of Wellesley and take a slight
left to continue on Rte 16 West/Washington Street.
