AirPorter
Van Company offers a discount to Wellesley
alumnae. The rate from Logan Airport
or South Station to the College is $39
($8 per additional person). The exclusive-van-service
rate from Logan
Airport or South Station to the College
is $103. AirPorter also offers service
to area hotels. Advance reservations
are strongly recommended.

sure to mention if you will require assistance
entering and exiting the van. AirPorter
vans are not accessible for people with

Taxi fare to the College
is approximately $60 from Logan Airport,
approximately $50 from South Station,
and approximately $45 from the Route
128 train station, not including tolls
and tip. Local companies include Veterans
Taxi at 508-653-9021 and Wellesley Transportation
at 781-235-2200. Planet Tran, a hybrid
taxi company, costs $92 from Logan Airport
to the College; this trip includes tunnel
and Mass Pike tolls and a 15% gratuity.

From the Amtrak terminal
at South Station, take the Framingham/Worcester
Commuter Rail to the Wellesley Square
stop. The commute is approximately
half an hour. One-way fare is $3.00.
You should buy the ticket in South
Station, since there is $1 surcharge
for purchasing tickets on the train.
Exact change is not required.
Go up the stairs and turn left onto
Crest Road; follow Crest a short distance.
Take a right onto Central Street. Walk
five minutes to the second set of lights.
Cross the street to the entrance of the
College. From there, allow twenty minutes
to walk to your destination on campus.
Note: The
Commuter Rail schedule can be accessed
online or
by calling 1-800-392-6100.
Please call ahead when making travel
plans; the schedule varies on weekends
and holidays. You may also take the Commuter
Rail to Wellesley from Back Bay Station.
If you prefer, call
a taxi from
the Wellesley Square Commuter Rail
stop.
