Request a Chapter Page

We offer two templates for chapter pages to meet the needs of different groups. Each template includes a fixed number of pages with set names; unfortunately these page names cannot be changed, though we encourage you to be creative in their interpretation.

The available sets are:

"Single Page"
Includes one page, entitled "Welcome". This is a good choice for a class or club which wants a very simple page. It is also a good option to be used in conjunction with a page hosted elsewhere; for example, a class might have a public site, but also have a single page chapter page to host files or information that need to be behind the authentication of the online community, such as directions to an event held at an alumna's house, or record book forms.

"The Mother Load"
Includes the following pages:

• Welcome
• Officers
• Events
• Photos
• Membership
• News
• Get Involved

The names of pages cannot be changed. However, the names are not strict restrictions on what can be added to the page. Many groups choose to reimagine or repurpose pages to suit their needs: for example, the "Membership" page could be used to report on class or club dues and how to become a member, to feature individual alumnae members of the class or club, or as a memorial page, depending on your group's needs. While the template will include all pages, you need not fully fill out all pages immediately; many groups launch pages with the expectation of adding content later. Note that photos are not restricted to the photos page; any page may contain photos or other images.

In your request, please include your name, your volunteer role, your group's name, and your online community username (but not your password, please), and your requested template.

If you need to change maintainers, or add an additional maintainer, send the new maintainer's online Community username (please do not include password) to techadmin@alum.wellesley.edu. Make sure to note your group's name in the email.
