Studio Art Application for ARTS 108
There is an application process for several of the studio art classes. The
catalogue indicates "by application." If you are interested for the
following semester, fill out an application form several weeks BEFORE pre-registration.
The correctly dated version of the application will be available 2 or 3 weeks before
pre-registration.
You
will be notified by e-mail if you are accepted.
You will be able to enroll in the class through the on-line registration process.
IMPORTANT HINTS:
All interested students are advised to come to the first class to see if anyone
drops out. The professor will go over important information about the class
during the first meeting. Sometimes students change their minds about taking
the class. You are welcome to come for that information, even if your name
is not on the official list. Apply again.
Hint: Warm bodies fill the spaces on the first day of class!!
In the meantime, you might think about one of the design or intro drawing courses.
Or, if you are considering a major/minor in studio, Art History 100-101.
Check the Art conference folder on FirstClass for Applied Arts Workshops (non-credit),
Art Club, and the Optik conference for other ways to connect with the Art Department!
