AGAIN AND AGAIN: SENIOR THESIS SHOW
May 15, 4:45pm
Courtney Richter's work investigates the many layers of memory, as being transient, fleeting, deceptive, and luring. Her prints and yarn installation in this exhibition are an exploration of a visual evocation of memory. Ran Tao's work explores convergence in an increasingly global and technological society, with the goal of promoting cultural understanding by allowing others to perceive the memories of her own childhood as familiar and natural. Kendra Terry's project is a study and practice of how we make sense: how we form concepts and believe structures, philosophies, and ideas about the world around us. Her installation will include three "mental stations" to investigate and offer a tribute to three ways of thinking. Please join us for the opening reception on May 15 from 4:45 to 6:00pm in the Jewett Art Gallery. The exhibition will be on view from May 15 - June 5.
