Youth Sends Wellesley Past Regis, 85-27
WESTON, MA - Bolstered by four players in doubles figures, including three first-years, the Wellesley College basketball team rolled past Regis, 85-27, in a non-conference contest Tuesday evening.
Junior point guard Kate Lyren led the way with a game-high 20 points, but the play of first-years Erin Johnson, Amanda Davidson and Bridget Harris aided Wellesley against the overmatched Pride. Johnson scored 11 points, while Davidson and Harris each added 10.
Wellesley (10-6 overall, 2-2 NEWMAC) hosts Clark Saturday at 2 p.m.
