Wellesley Captures 2003 NEWMAC Crew Championship
Worcester, Mass. – Wellesley College’s
Varsity 8 boat finished in a time of 7:04.6, claiming the 2003 NEWMAC
Crew Championship at Lake Quinsigamond, Saturday in Worcester, Mass.
Wellesley’s Lyssa Bayne (St. Cloud, Minn.) and Miranda Paris
(Monroe, Conn.) each earned 2003 NEWMAC All-Conference honors in
varsity crew while first-year Suzanne Forrest (New Haven, Conn.)
earned all-conference honors in novice crew. Both Bayne and
Paris are seniors on the 2002-03 squad.
