Wellesley Crew Defeats Smith and Simmons on the Malden River
Malden, Mass. – In rainy but flat
water conditions the Wellesley’s Varsity Eight rowed to two
victories over Smith and Simmons College, Saturday on the Malden
River.
In Wellesley’s Varsity Eight race against Simmons the Blue
handily rowed past Simmons in a time of 7:10.3. In the Varsity
Eight’s second race of the day, Wellesley cruised to a 6:56.1
finish outdistance Smith which finished in a time of 7:08.7.
