Mount Holyoke Leads After First Day of Wellesley Triangular
Wellesley, Mass. – Mount Holyoke’s
Audry Longo (Middletown, Conn.) shot a round-low of 83 to pace the
field of 16 golfers at the Wellesley Triangular on Nehoiden Golf
Course at Wellesley College.
Longo was one-under-par on the fourth hole – a 179-yar par
three – shot for par on the second, third, eleventh, twelfth,
and fourteenth holes to lead the day.
Mount Holyoke leads both Amherst and Wellesley after the first day
with a team score of 344. Wellesley is currently in second with
a team score of 363, while Amherst rounds out the competition with
a team score of 363.
Wellesley’s Susan Choi (Valley Stream, N.Y.) shot an 85 to
pace Wellesley.
