Wellesley Golf in Second after Day One of Mount Holyoke Invitational
HANOVER,
N.H. – Junior Jennifer
Jenq (Saratoga, Calif.)
shot an opening round of 82 to lead the Wellesley Golf team to
a second place finish after Saturday’s portion of the two-day
Mount Holyoke College Invitational in South Hadley, Massachusetts.
Jenq’s score puts her eighth going into the final round of
the tournament on Sunday. Teammate Jena Roche (Windermere,
Fla.) is
just two strokes behind Jenq with a score of 84 and stands at tenth
going into Sunday.
The Blue will complete the tournament on Sunday with a tee time
of 8:30 a.m.
