Wellesley Places 17th At Mount Holyoke Invitational
SOUTH HADLEY, MA - The Wellesley College golf team
continued its inaugural season this weekend, competing at the Mount
Holyoke Invitational. Wellesley placed 17th out of 20 teams.
Central Connecticut State, a Division I school from the Northeast
Conference, won the event by one shot over Methodist College, the
defending Division III national champion.
First-year Eleni Keris shot the round of the tournament for Wellesley,
a season-low 95 Sunday in the second round. She finished 66th. Wellesley
will play at the Williams Invitational Sunday, October 14 in Williamstown,
MA.
