Wellesley Takes Eighth At Bryant Invitational
SMITHFIELD, RI - Wellesley College history was
made this weekend as the golf team took to the links for the first
time, making it Wellesley's 12th intercollegiate sport.
Wellesley finished eighth in a 10-team field at the Bryant invitational,
which was played Saturday and Sunday. Vicki Lyo shot the low round
of the weekend for Wellesley, carding a 99 Sunday afternoon.
The Blue return home this weekend for the inaugural Wellesley Invitational,
which will be held Saturday at Nehoiden Golf Course. The shotgun
start begins at 11 a.m.
